Today Oregon Live reports that Kristick, Moevao, and Olander where charged with stealing a campus golf cart and banging it up. This is such a stupid move by the players- there is no excuse. The Benton County DA charging them is equally stupid and a waste of tax payers money. The police and legal dept's should have better things to do. If this incident occured at Alabama, it would never see the light of day. The coaching staff would dole out the necessary punishment. Since Kristick and Moevao are no longer on the team, the OSU administration could handle it.
I am so glad I don't live in Corvallis. The place is backward.....

It *is* pretty amazing that this is a felony. Can't imagine the writers of the law had golf cart in mind when penning "unauthorized vehicle"
