Uh, I don't know what to make of this but Sammie hasn't been at practice for six days....

I don't know what Mike Riley is thinking letting things get to this point. OSU's athletic dept. has already taken down any ads with Sammy in them. This means that something serious is amiss. If his absence is due to "personal reasons", he needs to get his shit together and get out in the field. He is a major league moron if he thinks that pro scouts aren't going to look negatively on this situation. Nobody wants another T.O. or worse.

Yea, Sammy had a really good shot at making a lot of $$$ in the NFL as a returner and maybe even as a WR.
He is reportedly a great guy and I pull for him, but how much will he let his teammates down if he doesn't come back?
If he is back this week, no problem. He already knows the offense.
But unfortunately this episode, regardless of reason, is not going to be looked upon kindly by NFL scouts.
I agree he'll be fine if he comes back before prep starts for Utah. Assuming, of course his head is in the game.
The first practice I watched, Sammy was dropping passes he shouldn't have. I don't think his head was in the right place the first few days of fall camp.
